When i first tried ikea meatballs,wings and cheesecakes with hiew,jason and tx...
i told to myself i should definitely bring Shawny here again no matter she has tried it before....as it was just too good for even a second try.....

Even though at first ,she did not seem to be quite fascinated....so i tried to lure her with laksa and milkshake, though she likes penang laksa more....

We reached at 3 oclock in the afternoon as i thought it would not be so crowded. Yet, i was proven wrong again..... the queue was so long and i couldnt find any empty table...(to my retrospect, the crowd was even larger than my first visit)

If u have never been to ikea restaurant before, you may first thought that you would have to wait so long for your meal to be served on.... in fact, it wasnt.
You are provided with a trolley which you can put trays on it and for desert, it is more like self-service and the food counter is distinctly segmented....
For instance, there will be cheesecakes and drinks on the fridge and you can grab anything you want, and if you are to order wings, you may have to proceed further to the end of the line....
So, things become so efficient and you may get rid of those ppl who may dawdle away your precious time(there are too many ppl out there who just innately love to be dilly-dally shilly-shally even they are thinking of what should they eat,irritating huh)

After that, we were on our way to maxwell chamber for the milkshakes and ice cream...and soon once we got there, we walked around maxwell chambers and found that there was a red-dot museum right beside maxwell chambers... it's conspicuously red in colour....Since you have to pay to get in, we just walked around and found that there was a gallery at the exit of the museum selling those aesthetically petite artistic stuff.....



Actually, you can find more outlets for OUAMS and the reason why i come to the one located at maxwell chamber is that, it is nearer and the outlay is fat more better than the one at orchard...and of course , it would be lesser ppl there too.... the milkshake was very think and creamy and both of us could only finish one cup!!!






After reading a lot of food blog and posts....it's easy to find famous and good foods out there...but as the blogger himself/herself is becoming too popular....they are soon circumscribed to give their own opinion as they know that every single opinion from them would easily trigger a large reflection from the mass.... secondly, everybody has different taste and fanciness of food.... sometimes, ppl would claim that you may be just too subjective....however,credit for all the posting as some of the foods are my favourite and it becomes directory for my food expedition lol...

Family Bonding

16th july

I and shawny/wynnie were invited to da yi(aunt) house for a bbq party on last saturday

Unlike US or other foreign countries who celebrating thanksgiving or other festivals where most of family members will dine together and have some appreciations...

For chinese, we do have chinese new year, reunion dinner or Dong Zhi though(not really know wat it's called in english, paiseh yahhh...english poor laa.....)You see, other than that few days in the calendar, days are normally 'days' as wat they have been,not much surprises, yet everybody is busy with what they're meant to do. Every tuesday i go to school, every wednesday i go to lab....It's sounds so austere. It becomes worse when it came to holiday. So, an tiny miny events or activities are like ripples triggered on a calm, stationary water surface.....

Crabs, Beef, pork, Wings ,corn ,sweet potatoes.....
all Credits to ee tio,Bryan and kakak wee.....
We had games and Ping Ping ku gave me Aston Voucher!!!!!( In fact, i was asked to draw a ticket and i 'won' the voucher as prize......

Good Food Good Ice Cream Day!!!

7th July...

3 days ago, my prof was suggesting to have a dinner together at Carnivore Churrascaria.... a brazillian all-meat buffet restaurant.... it do sounds a bit inviting for me as i'm an utter carnivore who fancy exotic food at the same time....HOWEVER....we changed to SOFAR, a turkish restaurant located at shaw tower, having more than 10 years history and was highly acclaimed( yaya...not to forget that the Churrascaria is charging 60 sgd per person too)

On tht day,Babe was having interview from UOB by tht day, and so bad that i'd to go to lab and having dinner with Dr Roshan and Zhen Hao,my summer researchmate, in the evening....

We reached at 7 and i expected a large crowd in the restaurant (as there were a lot of recommendation from the people....)
Once i reached,it was just beside the entrance of the mall, one stair up.
Along the Staircase,both banisters were ornamented with flowers and white candles were set aside of the treads....Turkish portraits and paintings were hung on the wall.... the relaxing ambiance was quite pleasant...

out of my expectation, there was only one table occupied,
they have open kitchen and i could see two large kebabs.....
We ordered 3 main courses with 3 starters and we shared and finished them....

The turkish yogurt drinks was too sour......and my turkish coffeee.....(in fact, it looked exactly like expresso, served with a very very small cup....) was just too displeasing....in spite of that, the soup with turkish bread and main course were fantastic and definitely i would go for it for a second time....


After that, we went to tom's palette( i'd been longing for it since last year....but what i can say after i''ve tried it.....it was merely an normal ice cream.....)


Summer research is going to be ended soon....and seriously thanks god that i got a good Supervisor and Partner for the project....

it's a indelible historical day for every malaysian
4 years away from the first Bersih rally which was barely evoked on my mind....
However, it's glad that i've witnessed(not attended the rally or be in kl though....i did painstakingly get myself updated the event from FB and Tweeter!!!!zzzzzz...)

People vs Police(thought they are our protector?)

Rebuking the police for the brutal act towards citizens
excruciating from the effect of tear gas, an old man died due to suffocation while was chasing by the police....Other than the censures from facebook where people keep reprimanding the government for the scornful strength-response, even though the event itself did not trigger any immediate or significant responses or effects, the efforts by the people are no futile....

Was having dinner at clarke quay,manhattan fish market, bought vouchers for fish and chip on june......Was my second visits to manhattan(first was with wynnie ,at autocity....i surmise she would forget d...zzzz)
Portion was relatively larger.....my small and flat stomach was easily get repleted and my stealth abs was like coverted helplessly by the bulge....zzzzz

Guess what....
this is the day of the year!!!!
As a poor and unproductive student,it's so badgering to hold a sumptuous yet not extravagant celebration for my ♥ one....

note : unproductive as in earning power...haizzz

Bought a pressie 2 days ago just before her birthday...kept it inside my briefcase, covering with clothe.....given to her night before
Why am i so furtive?? You definitely have no idea how sensitive she is



We had our dinner at dynasty paradise...I love the Xiu Long Bao, with 8 different flavors(black truffle, foie gras, garlic, ginseng, cheese, Szechuan and crab roe!)

Ppl might say it's so austerely plain and conventional. I'm definitely so unanimous....Promised the forthcoming will be far more better than this one.... And finally i've my baby bec to me....after had been waiting for 2 months !!!!♥.♥
